  • Texas Data and Privacy Security Act (the “Texas Privacy Law”): Larsen Immigration Law Group, a small business as defined by the United States Small Business Association, is compliant with the Texas Privacy Law, which goes into effect July 1, 2024. We go above and beyond.  We will not engage in the sale of your personal data, regardless of its sensitivity or whether you provide us consent to do so. 
  • Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act (ICDPA): Regardless of the small business nature, if you live in Iowa, you have certain data subject rights under the ICDPA. We comply with these rights, including the right to confirm whether a controller is processing personal data, the right to delete personal data, the right to request a copy of personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. Larsen Immigration Law Group does not sell personal data. All client information is kept strictly confidential. 
  • Other State Laws: We also ensure that our practices align with the requirements of other state privacy laws, including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) in California, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) in Virginia, and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) in Colorado.  


European Union Privacy Law Compliance


  • Larsen Immigration Law Group will continue to take steps to ensure its practices align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):  Per this law, U.S. companies that handle the personal data of individuals in the European Union (EU) must comply with the GDPR, a comprehensive data privacy law that came into effect in May 2018 and applies to any organization that processes personal data of individuals located in the EU, regardless of where the organization is based.
