Managing Attorney James Larsen wasn't born in Texas, but he got here as soon as he could, accepting a position at FosterQuan LLP, the largest immigration law firm in Texas, where he worked as a business immigration attorney from 2014 to 2020. Now Foster LLP, the firm was one of the pioneering business immigration law firms in the Austin area, and under the tutelage of Robert F. Loughran, James gained invaluable experience in various aspects of corporate immigration law, including H-1B, L-1A visas.
While working at Foster, James advised corporate clients on Form I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and immigration-related recruitment considerations. James has had the privilege of working with Fortune 500 companies across the United States, including some of the largest university systems, food distribution companies, and U.S. affiliates of major oil and gas corporations worldwide. Prior to launching Larsen Immigration, James was Of-Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, and Senior Employment Counsel at Farmer Law.
